Welcome to Bayside Detailing. By requesting a booking, engaging our services, or using our website, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not proceed with our services.

1. Nature of Services

Bayside Detailing operates as a managed detailing service, coordinating vehicle detailing through a curated network of independent, vetted detailing professionals (“Service Providers”). Bayside Detailing is not the direct employer of Service Providers but manages booking, allocation, quality standards, and client experience.

2. Bookings & Deposits

All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure a service date and time. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking and applied toward the total service fee.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to or upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be specified at booking.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Bayside Detailing reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational constraints, or Service Provider availability. Where rescheduling is required, reasonable notice will be provided.

4. Access & Service Conditions

Clients are responsible for providing safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the vehicle and service location. Bayside Detailing reserves the right to refuse or cease service if conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or materially different from those disclosed at booking.

Additional charges may apply where vehicle condition, size, or contamination exceeds standard expectations.

5. Service Outcomes

While Bayside Detailing and its Service Providers apply professional standards, detailing is a cosmetic service. Results may vary based on vehicle condition, age, paint type, and prior damage.

No guarantee is provided that all defects, scratches, or imperfections can be fully removed.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Bayside Detailing’s liability is limited to the value of the service fee paid
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or mechanical issues
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Damage & Claims

Any concerns regarding workmanship must be raised within 24 hours of service completion. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

Bayside Detailing is not responsible for damage arising from undisclosed defects, aftermarket modifications, or fragile materials.

8. Independent Contractors

Service Providers engaged through Bayside Detailing operate as independent contractors. Clients agree not to directly solicit, engage, or contract Service Providers introduced through Bayside Detailing outside of this platform for a period of 12 months following service completion.

9. Intellectual Property & Media

Any images, videos, or media captured of vehicles may be used by Bayside Detailing for internal quality assurance or marketing purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

10. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in that policy.

11. Changes to Terms

Bayside Detailing reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website and apply to future bookings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved in good faith before formal proceedings.
